A. Prices on the vehicles vary dependent on type of vehicle chosen, our most affordable cars are our range of secondhand cars.
Q2. Do you offer liability reduction?
A. Yes, you can reduce your liability excess down to $550 by purchasing our excess reduction package for $19/day.
Q3. Do you offer a shuttle service to Ballina Byron Gateway Airport?
A. Yes. We offer shuttle transfers from Ballina Airport to our depot in Byron Bay. Within 20 minutes of landing and collecting your luggage, you can be behind the wheel of your rental car, ready to start your Byron Bay holiday. A small fee applies.
Q4. What drivers licence do I need?
A. Minimum age for drivers is 18 and must have held their licence for at least 1 year. We accept Australian drivers licences, P platers (green or red), international licences. Foreign drivers licences needs to have certified translation.
Q5. Is there a minimum hire period?
A. There is NO minimum hire period. Our rates are based on a 24hour hire period with vehicles expected to be returned at the same time of day as they were picked up.
Q6. Do you provide refunds for cancellations?
A. We have a strict NO REFUND policy. If you are unable to take up your booking or end it before the designated date for whatever reason, we can offer you a Credit on future hires with Byron Bay Rentacar.
